Overview

We respect your privacy and want to empower you with control over the personal data we hold. This page explains how you can request deletion of data collected by the Deus chatbot, what types of data we store, the verification steps we require, and the timelines you can expect.

What data can be deleted?

  • Stored message identifiers used to deduplicate replies (e.g., comment IDs, message IDs).
  • Local copies of messages retained for debugging, moderation, and analytics (not backups of Facebook).
  • User-provided profile fields or metadata that were explicitly stored via opt-in features.
  • Derived analytics that are personally identifiable (we may retain aggregated, anonymized analytics).

What we do not delete

  • Public content remaining on Facebook (we cannot remove the original public comment/message from Facebook). To remove that content, use Facebook’s UI or contact Facebook support.
  • Backups or logs maintained only for compliance when legally required — those are deleted according to retention policy where possible and lawful.
  • Aggregated, anonymized analytics that cannot be traced back to an individual user.

How to request deletion (preferred options)

1) Email (recommended)

Send an email to bilal.tunio@markcoders.com with the subject Data Deletion Request. Include the information listed under Required information below. We will confirm receipt and next steps.

2) Secure API endpoint

If you are a site admin or automation user, you may submit deletion requests programmatically to our secure endpoint. Example:

Tokens are issued to Page administrators and verified requesters only. Never share tokens publicly.

3) In-app or dashboard request

If you manage the Page via our dashboard, use the Data & Privacy area to locate interactions and request deletion directly. Requests made via dashboard are logged and usually processed faster.

Required information (what to include)

To help us locate and remove the relevant data quickly, please include as many of the following as applicable:

  • Full name (as appears on your Facebook profile).
  • Facebook ID (numeric) or profile URL.
  • Exact message or comment content (or a screenshot) and approximate date/time (with timezone).
  • Message ID or comment ID (if available) — example: mid.$cAAABxExample_abcdef or 123456789012_987654321.
  • Requester email and a statement confirming you are the account owner or authorized representative.
  • A short reason for deletion (optional).

Verification process

  1. Acknowledgement: We will acknowledge receipt within 2 business days and provide a reference number.
  2. Identity verification: To prevent abuse, we may request proof of ownership — e.g., confirmation via the connected Page admin account, or a screenshot showing control over the Facebook profile listed.
  3. Processing: Once verified, we will identify stored copies, identifiers, or logs associated with the interaction and proceed with deletion.
  4. Confirmation: We will send a final confirmation when deletion is complete or notify you if a legal restriction prevents deletion.

Timelines

  • Acknowledgement: within 2 business days.
  • Verification & processing: typically within 7 business days after verification.
  • Complex or bulk requests may take longer (we will notify you of the estimated completion date).
  • In cases where legal holds or third-party retention policies apply, deletion may be delayed or only partially possible; we will explain any limitations.

We honor valid deletion requests subject to legal and contractual obligations. In limited circumstances we may retain certain information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements (for example, to comply with tax, audit, or law enforcement requests).

Q: Will deletion remove the original comment from Facebook?
A: No — we can only delete our copies or identifiers. To remove the original, delete it via Facebook’s UI.
Q: How long do you keep anonymized analytics?
A: Aggregated analytics are retained for business improvement, typically up to 24 months, and are not personally identifiable.
Q: Can I request deletion for someone else?
A: We require authorization or evidence of authority for third-party requests to avoid abuse.
